After several recent interesting conversations, and from watching TV and listening to the radio for the last 10 years (I never read the papers!), and from a purely personal point of view - am I the only person who increasingly thinks that the term ‘Anglo Saxon’ is a term of racist abuse towards the English and the Americans that has come about in the last ten years or so as a response to the Iraq war?
Or are there deeper, nastier reasons? Continue Reading »

Garlic is the first item in my list of best foods for detox.
There are many articles on the web about it, Garlic as medicine, for example.
Garlic cleanses and sterilises the gut from mouth to anus. It creates a harmonious environment therein. It is cooling and cleansing and soothing. It removes unpleasant fats and cholesterols and cleans the liver, encouraging the liver to health and settling all the other secondary organs of digestion. Garlic also defats the heart and cleans the arteries, thereby improving your skin, your overall health and the balance of your mind.
It is recommended that you eat at least one whole clove a day! Do not cook the garlic as this destroys its benefits and never fry it with the onions. If you want to add garlic to cooked food, add the garlic at the end of the cooking time to get the full effect.
For those of you worried about the pungent aroma coming off your skin when you eat garlic, well this just proves how much you need to detox! Indeed it is the indicator of how much you need to detox. Keep at it, a bulb a day and you will notice how quickly this smell dissapears, proving quite nicely how effective garlic is in detoxing your body and dissolving all those unwanted fats and cholesterols!

I have been persuaded to try Google ads to increase my real time traffic and hence my income.
As I am trying to help my son raise enough for a house deposit, I am willing to try anything legal, ethical and renumerative! Check out Google Adsense and also Steve Pavlina.com for details and another article by Steve on how to increase web traffic to your site. I have to say I agree with every word he says about honesty and truth and originality. Well done Steve!
What would you do?

With grateful thanks to The Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids for this most fascinating story of Origin.
If it is true that all things come out of Africa, then the discovery of the foundation of our cultural beliefs in this dark subcontinent is surely the most alluring. Continue Reading »

John Philip Cohane wrote a classic book The Key which unfortunately is not available on amazon but can be obtained as my link indicates. This fascinating book shows how language can be used to unlock the riddle of our past, like DNA strands can unlock our genetic structure. Well worth a read!

Diet and bad behaviour are now coming under the sort of scrutiny that Jamie Oliver gave to school meals. It appears that criminality is at least correctable in some measure by decent diet!! Continue Reading »
