Dignity and Respect 1
You do not have to listen to derogatory comments, unnecessary remarks, threatening or obscene language.
Jokes or innuendos which are insulting or which ridicule or single a person out are inappropriate and unacceptable.
Bullying, harassment, victimisation or violence cannot be tolerated.
Make a stand!
(City ands Hackney Primary Care Trust Dignity at Work poster Spring 2006)
It is not acceptible to abuse another person FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER!! If you do not have the emotional intelligence to resolve issues, then go and develop some!
It is never acceptible to scream at someone because you do not have the maturity or the morality to deal with your own issues. If you do not have the decency to work through your own damaged history, then go and get some!
It is impossible to resolve issues with violence because violence breeds violence. Look at Israel and Lebanon! If you cannot live without violence, then go and get a therapist like the rest of us have done!
It cannot be right to loose control of your unresolved emotional CRAP on another person. If you cannot see further than your own rage, then you ARE THE PROBLEM!
It is morally corrupt to loose your temper whenever it suits you because you have always got your own way like this before. If you have so little compassion with other people, then you HAVE BECOME THE ABUSER!
It is a pathology to hurt because you are hurt.
It is a symptom of your own disease to project your own pain on another and blame them for your miserable state.
It is a symptom of your own dis-ease to persecute an other, just because you have no intelligent solutions.
It is a sign of your own ignorance that you accuse other people of cruelty when you have no humanity in your own behaviour.
It is the beginning of war when you begin to hate.
It is the beginning of fury when you desire to hurt.
It is the beginning of rage when you enjoy abuse.
It is a mark of your own fear that you need to do it.
I feel very sorry for you. I pity you.
However, I do not want to be near you.
I want to run from you.
