Friend
A friend is different from the Other.
We can manoeuvre around the Other as a friend or as an enemy.
We can love or hate them.
We can practice our perpetrator and our scapegoat.
We can practice our dancing and singing.
We can learn to manoeuvre around our enironment.
As we move, we create a heirarchy.
We circle and spiral around our reflections in the mirror.
Past, present and future spin around us.
Electric and magnetic energy flickers around the scene.
Confusion and awareness challenge knowledge and truth.
Trauma and disease emerge.
Language of wisdom becomes language of defeat.
Language of past disorts the language of the future.
Concepts of justice arise.
This triggers the process of the dance of life and death.
Healing and disease reflect each other.
Each reaction is an equal and opposite reflection of consciousness.
It all depends upon our direction.
Can we allow ourselves permission to understand this?

20.8.07 - See also Peter Chappell on Trauma “Personally I think emotional literacy, alongside spiritual literacy, is the most important form of intelligence and that it’s opposite, the consequence of emotional illiteracy, man made trauma in all its forms, which at worst manifests in genocide and war, are the greatest source of ignorance and suffering. I think emotional intelligence is second in intelligence to spiritual intelligence and both are critically important today.â€
