Please help Save the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital

royal london homeopathic hospitalPlease sign this online petition to help us save the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital.

There are concerted attempts to convert this hospital to an orthodox NHS hospital which will deny homeopathy to very many people. Please do not let this happen.

Thank you!

Homeopaths in London UK

17.8.07 - Government’s response

21.8.07 - The Government is investigating a document containing an unauthorised NHS logo sent by Professor Gustav Born of King’s College London and seven other doctors and professors to PCTs in July and March 2007 undermining homeopathy, and these letters have been the basis for the decommisioning of NHS funding for homeopathy. Professor Born and his colleagues are conducting a vendetta against homeopathy and these letters are unofficial and unauthorised. This issue was raised in the House of Lords on 3.7.07 and government enquiries are continuing. This amounts to an illegal use of the NHS logo and illustrates the lengths that these people will resort to.

2.9.07 - Co-ordinated campaign to derail alternative therapies on the NHS

    Dear Sirs/ALL

It really shocking news for us in INDIA . It should not happen - we pray almighty. The patient should have a choice and hope the British people will support this democratic and human right of an individual to select his own system of treatment for his ailment. The popularity and success of the Homoeopathy seems to have unnerved many MNCs who are out to create a new drug a day without bothering about its dangerous side effects. As a layman who has read some homoeopathic literature , I have observed a lot of contribution to the Homoepathic world by the British. Therefore RLHH which has past will also stand for the future times to come.

I’m distressed by the passivity of the supporters of homeopathy. I was one of the mere 7 and a half thousand who signed the petition on the goverment’s website in July. Where was everyone?
Who is working to keep this in the public eye? The publicity campaign is woefully inadequate. Isnt there anyone in advertising who has been helped by homeopathy who will offer their services to the cause?
Dont lets all sit back and rely on HRH to see that this doesnt happen. Remember for evil to triumph all that is required is for good citizens to do nothing. The ‘7 dementors’ know this and will prevail if we dont act consistently now.
I am willing to be involved in some capacity but I’m just an end user and my health isnt good enough, my skills honed enough nor my profile high enough to head this up.
I will be on the march inspite of my disability - I heard of it briefly on the Beeb - but where is it being publicised? Not widely enough!
Is anyone with me? contact jennifer@uwclub.net

I think it is vital to keep homeopathy as a coninued practice alonsgside allopathy and to that end advise that this hospital is kept open for these reasons.
