Spring Offensive Against Homeopathy - the fightback strengthens

rhetoricThe Telegraph have published an article that begins to challenge the vicious rhetoric that has been emerging all this year attacking homeopathy.

There is a terrible price that the people attacking homeopathy will pay in the end. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time. Over time, their economic greed and the political basis for their verbosity will become transparent and they will damage themselves irretrievably.

Special thanks to Zeus for the link!! Continue Reading »

The Giggles…

giggleI have just come back from my local Morrison’s supermarket where I asked a young lad if they sold superglue?

He said “Yes, Aisle 3. That’s the stuff you use to make cakes with isn’t it?”

Oh dear!!

Silver Surfer

silver surferI was thrilled and delighted to discover that the next Marvel Comic character to emerge after Spider Man will be my favourite! Silver Surfer!

I well remember sitting reading Marvel Comics when I was a youngster and I am dismayed that the youth of today do not know them, as my generation did.

To see them become feature films has been worth the wait!

These characters fueled a lot of the 1960s revolution that so reshaped the World!

Don’t let anyone fool you!

The 1960s were an amazing time to live through.

We really did change the World and we are still doing so today!

I don’t want to spoil your fun as you discover this wonderful character for yourselves, so I will say no more until I have seen the film. The trailer looks great!

Spring Offensive Against Homeopathy - the Fightback!

fight backDr Rudi Vis MP for Finchley and Golders Green and the Society of Homeopaths have begun the fightback against the Orthodox Inquisition leveled against homeopathy in recent months with a parliamentary Early Day Motion number 1240 which currently has 0ver 70 signatories, including our local MP for Hackney and Stoke Newington Diane Abbott. Please lobby your MP to sign this early day motion so we can get some definitive action on this issue.

Dr Vis has spoken out for us in parliament and the debate can be followed online! Isn’t the World Wide Web fantastic? Together with the other signatories to this EDM, we begin to see the rise of support for homeopathy and the fightback will gain strength and support, with the help of all those people who believe in choice and diversity.

Long live homeopathy.

The Religion

vallettaThe Religion by Tim Willocks is an astonishing novel.

It describes the siege of Malta in 1565 AD in gruesome and vivid detail and the author weaves his theme around power, religion, war, greed, fear, madness and absolute cruelty: faith, love, betrayal, obsession, friendship ‘to the end’ - such that you do not know which side to love or hate, which side to admire, which part to take, who is good, who is evil - or are all his characters simply human?
