The Dispensary will be open (for Out-Patients only) on Monday and Thursday Afternoons, from three to four o’clock. Subscribers of Half a Guinea and One Guinea per Anum, will have Four or Eight Tickets for distribution. The destitute Poor alone are to be considered proper objects for medical charity ; although others, who are unable to pay for medical advice, will be admitted as patients (with the consent of the Medical Officers) on payment of Half a Crown per Month to the Funds of the Dispensary.

The Tunbridge Wells and West Kent Homeopathic Dispensary, opposite Christ Church, High Street (the Pantiles)

The dispensary moved to Hannover Road in 1886, Upper Grosvenor Road in 1887 (this premesis had become a small hospital by 1890), and the dispensary and hospital then became the Tunbridge Wells Homeopathic Hospital in Church Street, Tunbridge Wells in 1902 – the freehold of this property being purchased by Francis Gray Smart.

A new wing was added in 1924, named as a Memorial to Francis Gray Smart, with further extensions added in 1930).

The Tunbridge Wells Homeopathic Hospital was closed for homeopathy on 1.4.2009 following a vitriolic campaign against homeopathy.
