I am Sue Young
I am a homeopath, a writer and a human being. This is my web site about my interests. I love healing, archaeology, history and writing.
My Story:
In my twenties, I worked as a make up artist alongside my husband, who was a professional fashion photographer. I was also a qualified massage therapist and beautician.
After my son was born and my divorce came through, I obtained a BSc in Psychology and Statistics from the City of London Polytechnic in July 1984. I did some post graduate studies in the development of language, intending to do a PhD , but I switched horses and was half way through training as a speech therapist when I took my first homeopathic remedy. I was no ivory tower academic and speech therapy was infuriating, slow and at the time, patronising.
Within four months, I had begun my course in homeopathy at Regents College of Homeopathy, graduating with LCH in June 1991. I continued with a post graduate course with Robert Davidson at the Practical College of Homeopathy, graduating with MCPH in February 1995. Finally, I obtained my Registration with the Society of Homeopaths, RSHom in April 1995.
I subsequently spent some time studying history at Birkbeck College, University of London, but as I do not need three degrees, I did not finish this one! However, it has fuelled a deep interest in the subject which becomes more important for me with each passing year.
